Outdated References 195: Andor Finale & Last of US

This week Russ and I chat a lot about a little bit of everything as I slowly loose my voice during the duration of recording this episode. (Sorry.) I got a new key issue to my comic book collection and I got a new Neo-Geo MVS game, like New NEW, not just new to me. Eventually we start out spoiler chat about Last of Us but, more importantly, we get to sink our teeth into the juicy show that was Andor Season 2.

Outdated References 194: An Avalanche of Good to Talk About

SUPER LOADED show for this week. We had to skip the usual pleasantries and just jump right into “The Last of Us” Episode 3 & 4, “Andor” Episode 4-9, and for May the 4th, all of the episodes of “Star Wars Tales of the Underworld.” After trying to cover all of those shows we talk about our opinions with “Marvel’s Thunderbolts*” aka “The New Avengers” & Ryan Coogler’s “Sinners.” Whew. That's too many fantastic television and films.

Two man show with your two favorite guys, Russ and Nathan. We have switched from Skype to Discord because Microsoft screwed the pooch. Nathan also shares about his current knee injury and Russ adds to the misery about the suckage of getting older. We are back to the Daredevil discussion and excited for the season finale.

Outdated References 191: Ramblings

There man show with Russ, Adam and Nathan. I watched Princess Mononoke in 4K with my wife, then we talked about Asian food and that just made all of us super hungry. Then we get into outdated baseball talk about torpedo bats and the long wait for the A’s to eventually move to Sin City. Then Adam and Nathan complain about people abusing ATMs and the one main issue that annoyed the Bros with the Bank episode of Daredevil. Then Russ and I go on a tangent about anime and Adam bails.

Outdated References 190: Born Again?

Russ, Adam, and Nathan are just not impressed with more “live action” versions of Disney cartoons. Showing some light hate at Gambit’s Cajun accent. We also turned around, back to loving “Harley Quinn.” We finally jump into Disney’s first Marvel big boy TVMA show, “Daredevil: Born Again.”

Outdated References 189: Does Whatever a Podcast Can

This week it is a two man show with Russ and Nathan. Nathan really hates Amazon with commercials and Nathan enjoys Banana Ball. Russ went and saw Captain America: Brave New World. Nathan finished “Slam Dunk” and recommended to Russ some of his favorite slice of life anime then we started gushing about “Bofuri.” This week we continue with our excitement about the amazing show “Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.”

Outdated References 186: New Year, Old Me

Russ, Adam, & Nathan started sharing war stories with our families over the New Year holidays, then we shared our preferences in chili and why we hate Disney CG remakes. Eventually, we move onto our thoughts on the later half of “Creature Commandos” and then we talk about “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.” 

I totally fallen behind on editing due to life being just so darn fun. Living hard, forgetting to edit. Anywho, the shows will be dropping every week until we catch up, then the show will come out on it's regualar scheduled time of every two weeks.
